Les Tuileries, Paris
While I was in Paris this summer, I was talking through Les Tuileries, and was priveledged to see how they prune their crazy 'alice in wonderland' type trees!! They actually have a tracer!
...kind of takes away the magic... didn't they just GROW like that?!

Not as blurry but soft and warm, maybe even impressionistic.
earlier this evening i was watching a show called "america's smartest model" and i laughed the WHOLE time. these models were being tested at the high school level while they disected a fetal pig. I often heard the comment, "im a model. if i wanted to be smart i would have stayed in school." this just makes the show completely redundant!
to comment on this, i thought i would post a picture that is ridiculous and pointless that i took with my sister's mac. are tools such as iphoto really necessary? do people really use these programs for anything but taking silly portraits?

- This site is the destination for the second assignment in Documentation and Construction (photo3032) taught by Justin Wonnacott during the winter term of 2008 at the University of Ottawa. It was formerly called "What are we going to do about the death of photography?" but we have decided that was a negative influence on our thinking so we have changed it - to read more click HERE.
